Shared forest service to grow tiny forests in cities
Comoris is a shared forest service that creates small forests on vacant or idle land in cities and continues to maintain them while enjoying nature and various activities at the site.
The shared forest is operated on an NFT membership basis, and its members and surrounding residents can realize a nature-positive urban lifestyle through participation in a variety of learning programs, including placemaking, food events using wild plants, and hands-on training in the forest.
From April-September 2024, a small forest was set up on a vacant lot in Yoyogi Uehara, and the concept model was operated with about 15 members. In October of the same year, Comoris DAO LLC was established, and in the spring of 2025, a new shared forest will be opened in Yoyogi Uehara.
